The top tech school, straight to Rwandan students' classrooms.
Through our partnership with MIT, we’re connecting Rwandan high school students with MIT learners who are just like them—driven, curious, and passionate about engineering. This mentorship nurtures their technical skills and inspires them to see themselves as future leaders in global innovation, making institutions like MIT feel more accessible and part of their journey.
The Program
MIT undergraduates will be selected in an application-based process to visit Rwanda and attend 100 middle and high schools in the course of two weeks over their IAP (Independent Activities Period) term. There, they will mentor and instruct STEM Inspires students in robot design and programming, entrepreneurial project development, and teamwork in accordance with the FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge programs.
